Quantum provides customer-centered service and support. With many years of experience in the ophthalmic industry, Quantum is here to provide technical expertise any time you have issues with your process, even if it’s equipment made by Balzers, Leybold, Satis or others. We’ll troubleshoot and identify problems, then work with you to create solutions.
Our goal is to improve product reliability, decrease downtime, and increase productivity by planning maintenance ahead of forecasted failure times for components and subsystems.
On-site service for equipment and process related issues in a failure or downtime mode. Quick response time and resolution to issues have made Quantum a front-runner in Emergency Service.

Quantum can help labs with older equipment compete in today’s market by upgrading their coating processes. In many cases, premium processes can be installed with no equipment modification. In some cases, component upgrades may be required. We will even install these processes in coating equipment manufactured by other companies!

3. Equipment Refurbishment
Quantum understands that it sometimes makes more sense to purchase refurbished equipment instead of new. Whether you are starting a new lab or need to add capacity to an existing lab, we can provide refurbished equipment that fits your needs at a lower investment. This provides a faster ROI and allows you to provide coating services at a lower cost. Quantum thoroughly tests all coaters and, depending on your need, can upgrade the equipment to current standards. We will partner with you to help grow your business, through marketing materials, development of new processes, consumable materials and service.

5. Testing Lab
A unique feature offered as part of our process contract program is our Test Lab service. Using Colts Laboratories standards to ensure quality control, we can turn your test results quickly – usually within one week.
We also offer Lab Services on a “per use” basis for customers not currently participating in a Quantum process contract.
